| So, my break is quickly coming to an end.....but fortunately, it's been a pretty great break as far as I'm concerned. I got to spend it with my favorite man ever in life. He happens to make me happier than any man I've ever known. He came the day after Christmas, and we've spent every waking moment together. And today... just for funsies, we started planning our wedding. It's only 7 and a half months away and there is so much to get organized between now and then. Today we looked at places and inquired about quite a few. We also discussed favors and guest lists. I think it might be my favorite thing ever--planning weddings :) Especially with the man I love.... Who wouldn't love organizing the details of the most special day of the rest of our lives? It gets me so excited to be able to think about spending every day of my life with my best friend. I love it, in fact!!!!!!!! ;) And I'm extremely sad that all the festivities have to come to a screeching halt tomorrow when this amazing man takes off to return to Delaware tomorrow. Maybe, we'll luck out and he'll be stranded here forever in a massive New England snowstorm.... It has potential... and it would make me very happy.
Ok... update complete. Rocking out to the School of Rock with my Rock star boyfriend.... soon to be fiancee  My very own Guitar Hero :)

| So... There's this boy in my life. And he's a big xanga-er and all his friends are too, and I feel like most of the said friends like to keep tabs on him... and his woman... Therefore, for the sake of good friends and stalkerish tenencies, I am writing a new entry. Crazy? yeah I know. But that's what makes me a good girlfriend... Willing to take one for the team, so to speak, and write even though blogging is not a real passion of mine.
Well, Christmas is almost here, and this girl is a mega-procrastinator this year. I usually finish all my shopping before thanksgiving. This year I will be going out tomorrow morning (a.k.a Christmas EVE) to shop for my entire family. Not smart, but a girl's gotta do what she's gotta do. *Sigh* It will not be a fun experience. Luckily, I have solid ideas for everyone I need to buy for, so it's just the buying that needs to get actually accomplished. I also have had Natey done for awhile so that's a relief. I really hope the gift gets here in time though. I changed the shipping method to get what I bought ASAP but I don't know if they'll arrive before he does. Keep your fingers crossed. I don't know why i'm being so secret about what I bought him; he already knows. However, I feel as though Christmas gifts need some element of secrecy.
I guess, in the event that the people who end up reading this aren't Nate's friends, or Nate himself... I should fill you in on, oh I guess about the past year or so of my life.. Last year.... Not good to say the least, but it's over and gone, so I guess we'll just fast forward to the stuff that matters. I'm back at PBU finishing up my education. I still have forever to go... because I changed my major when I returned. That's right. No longer a music major. I'm officially elementary education now. Very different, but definitely a change for the better. I have an affinity for teaching and teaching small children at that, so... I love all my classes and writing lesson plans, designing bulletin boards, and... well... just teaching.... so Go me!!!! Finally a good decision. Life is good, as far as school goes. I got straight A's this semester.... Except for Wenger's American History class... but I didn't really expect a good grade in that class... and I passed with a C... So I was OK with that. :)
let's see.... Anything else worth discussing..... Oh yeah, you probably should know about this amazing man I know. He makes me so happy, and we are perfect together. We both love music and we are hilarious together... Everyone and anyone you ask will agree. He loves God, and we've found a church that we are attending together. We do music together there, and I also am going to be involved with kid's church or Sunday school in January. It's a small, but growing church, and I feel as though we make an excellent addition to their music ministry. The people are all very very nice people who really care about us and the rest of the Moutouxs which is really really great, and comforting, since I often really really miss my home church and the people there. Back to the man of my dreams... He is absolutely amazing. He takes care of me and loves me more than anything, and I love him back, so it works out really well :) I love spending time with him and being close and just doing everyday stuff together. For the record, just in case you weren't sure, this is the Nate that I dated a couple years ago. Back them the timing was a little off. I think we both had some growing up to do before we were ready to be in a committed relationship with each other, but that time has of growing up has come and now we are a perfect match. Life is good.
There is so much more I could update on. I could write a book of everything going on in life, but I won't bore you all with the minute details of my life. I shall try to dutifully post here more often, though no promises can be made after the next semester gets under way ;) Merry Christmas to all....and a Happy New Year!!! | | |
| Here I am... again... not doing too bad at updating this thing these days. I just had the WORST night of work EVER.... I love take out at the OG, but people really suck sometimes.... They all act as if the whole world is gonna fall apart if they don't get their food the moment they arrive. *NEWS FLASH* "IT'S NOT THAT BIG OF A DEAL TO WAIT FOR FOUR MINUTES FOR YOUR DANG MEAL!!!! ~Ay-yi-yi~ Sometimes I just do not have the patience to deal with guests. I messed up today quite a bit... oh well.... Mistakes happen. Life still goes on. I'm getting read to go back to PBU... Starting to miss life down there. I miss living with my girls and practicing the piano and feeling intelligent.... Only 3 more weeks til that happens. Tomorrow i have to drive to Portland Me at midnight to pick up Amy. Love the girl, but that's one hell of a drive.... not exactly looking forward to it. But i'm bringing the iPod and magazines and LB.... mini-road trip of summer '06.... we shall make it fun :) Guess that's it for now friends.... | | |
